Use swag points to give your employees points to redeem specifically for swag-related reward items

Who can use this feature?

  • Only Admins can set up swag points

  • When swag points are given, all employees will have access to redeem their swag points for swag items (either in Axomo or Covver)

What to expect

  • For the engagement, culture suite, and custom plans, swag points will be automatically available within the features below

  • Swag points can be given through:

  • To set up swag points, you must configure each of these features to give swag points within their respective pages in admin

How swag points work

  1. Like regular points, only employees who are able to receive points can redeem swag points (in admin, their role is 'receiver' or 'normal')

    1. NOTE: with our welcome bot; currently, every new employee receives the welcome bot post and points

    2. However, if they are set to 'giver' or 'observer' they will not actually have access to these points and they cannot redeem them

  2. Swag points will have the same $USD value as regular points

    1. If you have exchange rates configured, the swag points will follow the exchange rate for their value in $USD

  3. If you have at least 1 swag point available to redeem, you will see a separate section in your points widget showing you how many swag points you have to redeem

    1. If you do not have at least 1 swag point to redeem, then you will not see any separate section for swag points

    2. Once you receive more swag points, this section will re-appear

  4. Swag points can only be redeemed for swag via our Axomo or Covver integrations

  5. You can also use regular points to redeem for swag items, or combine swag points and regular points

Redeeming swag points

If you have at least 1 swag point to redeem, you can use it to redeem swag items in your reward catalog. To redeem your swag points:

  1. Go to https://app.joinassembly.com/a

  2. Click 'Rewards' in the left menu

  3. Click 'Swag'

  4. Select the item you would like to redeem

    1. You can only select items you have enough points (regular + swag points combined) to redeem

    2. If you do not have enough points, you will not be able to select the item

  5. On the 'confirm details' step, select the checkbox for 'Use swag points'

  6. Enter the amount of swag points you would like to use; this is optional if you have enough regular points to use

    1. If you have enough swag points to redeem the item, you will not need to use regular points if you choose to use swag points

    2. If you do not have enough swag points to redeem the item, you will need to use a combination of swag points + regular points

  7. Click 'place order' to complete the redemption and order your swag reward
