Swag rewards in Assembly - Covver

Assembly offers two swag reward integrations with Axomo and Covver, where your employees can redeem points for custom company swag!

This article is for our Covver Swag integration. If you have an Axomo Swag store, please see our Axomo help article for Axomo integration instructions.

Who can use this feature?

  • Only Admins can set up Covver swag rewards

  • When enabled, all employees will have access to redeem their points for Axomo swag

What to expect

  • You can only connect to one swag integration, Axomo or Covver, not both

  • In order to connect to Covver, you must create an account directly through Assembly

  • Once connected, you can enable all or some of the swag items in your Covver catalog

  • Your employees can redeem their points for any swag item enabled from the catalog directly within Assembly

Connecting to Covver in admin

  1. Go to your admin page

  2. Select Rewards -> Swag

  3. Select 'Covver'

    1. If you have not already created your Covver account through Assembly, you must do so first in order to connect Covver to Assembly

    2. If you did not create your Covver account through Assembly, the API credentials will not appear in your Covver Dashboard

  4. Enter your Covver CompanyID

    1. To find your CompanyID:

      1. Go to your Covver admin panel

      2. Go to the API tab

      3. Click 'Copy CompanyID'

  5. Enter your Covver StoreID

    1. To find your StoreID:

      1. Go to your Covver admin panel

      2. Go to the API tab

      3. Click 'Copy StoreID'

  6. Click Connect to Covver.

  7. Once connected, all of your available inventory from Covver will automatically get imported into Assembly

    1. The prices will also display as they are shown in your Covver catalog; you can adjust the prices in Assembly if you would like

Manage your swag in Assembly

Once your Assembly is connected, we will automatically import all available swag from your Covver store. Here are a few things to note about managing your swag in Assembly:

  • All item images, names, descriptions, statuses cannot be changed are managed directly in Covver; you cannot change them in Assembly.

Turning on your swag

By default, the ‘Swag’ tab in your rewards catalog is turned off, meaning that even though all swag items imported from Covver are ‘On’, nobody in your Assembly will see the ‘Swag’ tab in your rewards catalog until you turn it on.

To enable access to the Covver Swag rewards page for your employees:

  1. Go to your admin page

  2. Select Rewards -> Swag

  3. Next to Show the swag page in the rewards catalog, turn the toggle to On.

  4. This will show all swag items that you have turned on in your swag item list in Assembly.

To turn individual swag items on/off:

  1. Go to your admin page

  2. Select Rewards -> Swag

  3. Next to the item you wish to turn on or off, turn the ‘Show item’ toggle to on or off.

  4. You can also turn all swag items on or off by clicking ‘Turn all items ON or ‘OFF’.

  5. This will show or hide the swag item in the rewards catalog.

Edit the dollar value of your swag

Upon importing your swag from Axomo, by default each item will be priced at the same value of the item in your Axomo catalog directly. You can change the price to be more or less, but you will be billed for the full item price listed in Axomo.

To edit the point value of a swag item:

  1. Go to your admin page

  2. Select Rewards -> Swag

  3. Next to the item whose $ value you wish to edit, click the edit icon.

  4. Enter the new point value of the item.

  5. Click Save changes.

Billing for swag purchases

  • All purchases within Assembly will be billed to you directly through Covver; Assembly will not handle any of the Covver swag billing.

  • You are responsible for all swag purchase costs as well as shipping costs.

Disconnect Covver

You can disconnect your Covver account at any time.

  1. Go to your admin page

  2. Select Rewards -> Swag

  3. Click edit connection

  4. Click Disconnect Covver

  5. Once disconnected, you can either connect again to Covver, or choose to connect to our other provider, Axomo.

International shipping

Not all Covver products are shipped to all regions.

  • In the "Customize" tab of your Covver dashboard, you’ll see a tag under each product indicating the regions where it can be shipped.

    • A shipping region might be a specific country, a larger region (such as the EU), or worldwide, which means the product is available for international shipping.

  • If an item is eligible for international shipping, your employees will see the option to select that country during the redemption process

  • If the item does not ship to a specific country, your employees can only select from the list of available countries when entering shiping details


Redeeming swag

To redeem your points for an Covver swag item:

  1. Go to app.joinassembly.com

  2. Click rewards in the left nav menu

  3. Select the 'Swag' reward type

  4. Select the swag item you would like to redeem

  5. Follow the steps to choose the item and enter shipping details

  6. Click 'Place order'

NOTE: You cannot combine various items in the same order. You can only purchase one or multiple of the same item within the same order.

Using swag points

  • If swag points are enabled for your Assembly, you can choose to use swag points to redeem your Covver swag item.

  • If you do not have enough swag points, you can combine regular points with swag points to redeem the item

  • You also always have the option to use regular points when redeeming swag; and if you do not have swag points, it will default to using regular points
