Whether or not you are connected to an identity provider, you always have the option to invite members manually to your Assembly account.
NOTE: While this article is for manually inviting members to your Assembly, you can still connect to any of the identity providers (Slack, G Suite, Office 365, or ADP) to manage your members as well.
Manually Invite Members
Single Invite
From my.joinassembly.com, and go to your Admin Settings.
Click Users > Manage.
Click the single person icon with a + next to it.
Enter all required information and whichever optional information you would like to include.
Click Confirm.
Manually-invited members will appear in the Pending section of the Users > Invites page.
You can edit any of the member’s information at any time (except for their email*) by selecting the pending member and clicking the edit icon.
You can also delete a pending member or remind them to accept their invitation at any time.
*For security purposes, you cannot change the member’s email once they have been invited; you must contact Assembly support.
Bulk Invite
From my.joinassembly.com, and go to your Admin Settings.
Click Users > Manage.
Click the multi person icon with a + next to it.
You can individually enter emails into the box or import a CSV or XLS with the emails you want to invite (please ensure the document does not have any headers, only emails in the first column).
Select the allowance you would like these members to have. You can give the default amount or click Edit for invites to enter a different amount.
Click Send.
Manually-invited members will appear in the Pending section of the Users > Invites page.
You can edit any of the member’s information at any time (except for their email address*) by selecting the pending member and clicking the edit icon.
You can also delete a pending member or remind them to accept their invitation at any time.
*For security purposes, you cannot change the member’s email once they have been invited; you must delete the invitation and resend to the proper email or contact Assembly support to change the email.
