What is AI Reporting & Insights?
Assembly’s AI Reporting & Insights solves an age-old problem in business software: finding, filtering, downloading, and analyzing data, only to realize the data you need isn’t available or requires too much manual work.
AI Reporting & Insights allow you to generate nearly any report instantly, just by asking Dora. This includes Assembly platform usage, recognition given and received, reward redemptions, and more.
Assembly is on the cutting edge of advancements in AI technology, enabling the intelligence and flexibility you’ve always wanted - you can ask for trends or suggestions, ask Dora to generate charts, tables, or spreadsheets, and drill down, follow up, and customize any aspect of the reports you create.
DoraAI is your personal analyst!
Getting Started
AI Reporting & Insights is currently only available to workspace admins.
Getting started with DoraAI is easy! Just follow the simple steps below:
Select AI Reporting & Insights from your left navigation
Choose a reporting category. You’ll find more details on the information available and example reports in each category below.
You can choose from the suggested prompts at the bottom of the DoraAI chat window.
Or, you can simply ask a question or request data from Dora!
You'll see AI Reporting & Insights in your left navigation bar!
Reporting Categories & Available Data
There are 4 reporting categories that will provide you valuable insights as an Admin.
Note: you’ll only be able to ask questions about data in the chosen category, but every category includes a full list of your team’s Assembly users, current point balance, hire date, and last login date. You can ask general questions about this user data in any category.
Recognition stats
All peer-to-peer recognition events are captured in this category, including recognition posts and boosts given to team members in comments. This includes sender and recipient details, points given, core values recognized, and what was written in each recognition post.
This means you ask for answers, visuals, or downloadable CSV’s, such as:
Who are the top recognition givers and receivers?
Who gave all of their allowance last month? Who had points left to give?
Which teams have received the most and least recognition?
Which departments are recognizing other departments most often?
Are there managers who have not recognized their team in the last month?
Show me a chart of month-by-month recognition points given over the last year.
How does per-month recognition received change based on an employee’s tenure at the company?
Show me the last 5 recognition posts given to a manager from a member of their team.
Has Jane Smith received recognition since she started?
Reward redemptions
All redemption events are captured in this category, including who redeemed a reward, when, the reward type, points spent on the reward, and the currency value of the redemption.
With this information, you can ask:
What are the most popular rewards redeemed at my company?
How many total points exist in our employee’s balance and what is the currency value?
How many points were spent on rewards over the last year?
Which rewards has the Marketing department redeemed most often?
Flow engagement
All actions related to flows are available for analysis in the Flow engagement category. This includes the creation of a flow, the details of that flow, posts, comments, and reactions.
Note: This category does not include the content of employee’s responses (yet!).
Try prompts like these on your own flows:
Show me all active flows in Assembly at my company
What are the most popular flows at my company?
Which flows have seen the fewest posts? What about comments?
Who posts the comments the most in the Employee of the Month flow?
Who has never posted in the Suggestion Box flow?
Milestones
The Milestones category is dedicated to employee milestones, like birthdays and anniversaries. You can ask:
Show me all the birthdays coming up in the next 2 months
Are there any birthdays or anniversaries in the Engineering department in July?
Are there any birthdays for employees in New York in August?
How many employees have a 5th anniversary coming up in 2025?
Missing Employee Profile Information in Assembly?
If your Assembly workspace is missing employee profile data, like employee departments, locations, job titles, or manager, you’ll see a notice like this inside of DoraAI Reporting:
You can still use AI Reporting to gain many valuable insights, but full employee profiles allow you to slice and dice your reports in more ways. For example, if your workspace is missing department information, you won’t be able to compare departmental trends.
As soon as this information is added, you’ll have the ability to run analyses with the additional data included.
You can update or add employee information in the User Management section of the Admin panel. Depending on the approach you use to upload users, you may need to reach out to your Account Manager or email Success@joinassembly.com.
Note: we recommend the use of an HRIS integration for the easiest user management experience.
