Sending rewards (gifts) in Assembly

Who can use this feature?

• Only (free) Assembly account owners can send rewards

• This feature is not yet available for customers on a paid plan (though it is coming soon!)

What to expect

• You can only send one gift card to one recipient at a time (for now, we are working on the ability to send to multiple recipients!)

• For security reasons, you cannot send more than $25 in total rewards before verifying your account with the Assembly support team (to verify your account, please reach out to support@joinassembly.com)

• The recipient of your reward will receive the gift card directly to the email you specify during checkout

• The rewards are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once sent

Sending a gift card

You can send a gift card from any of the available providers shown in the gift card catalog. You can send gift cards internationally as well by selecting the desired country from the country dropdown.

If you are sending a gift card internationally, you must ensure that the currency is valid in the recipient’s country. For example, sending a USD gift card to a recipient in Spain will not work. You must send in EUR.

To send a gift card:

1. Log into your Assembly account at https://app.joinassembly.com/login

2. Select the gift card you wish to send

3. Select the value of the gift card

4. Enter the recipient’s name and email (where the gift card will be sent)

   1. If you want to be CCd on the reward email that gets sent to the recipient, check the ‘CC sender email on recipient email' checkbox

5. Add the sender name (as it will appear in the email to the recipient; it can be your name or something else)

6. Add your message (as it will appear in the email to the recipient)

7. If you want to preview the email, click ‘Preview email’

8. If you want to send a test email, click ‘Send test email’

   1. Enter the email address you want the test email to go to

9. Enter your credit card information

   1. If you have a stored payment method you can select this as your payment method

10. Click ‘Place order and send reward’

All rewards will incur a 7% service fee, regardless of the value of the reward

Order history

You can see all of your reward order transaction history from the ‘Order history’ page

1. Log into your Assembly account at https://app.joinassembly.com/login

2. Click ‘Order history’ in the navigation menu

3. From here you can view and download your full transaction history

Manage your account

You can manage your account name, stored payment method(s), or delete your account from the manage your account page.

1. Log into your Assembly account at https://app.joinassembly.com/login

2. From the profile menu in the top right of the page, click ‘Manage account’

3. You can change the name of your account

4. You can add/manage stored payment methods for faster checkout during the reward checkout process

5. To delete your account, follow the steps at the bottom of the page

If you delete your account, you will lose all of your transaction history
